All Original
Sheepskins™ are made from real medical-grade
sheepskin. They are made in New Zealand and imported
to the United States. Original Sheepskins are
processed and dyed either white or honey in color.
The sheepskins are offered "natural" or treated with
silicone. Natural sheepskins are just that, natural.
They go through a normal tanning process and are
bleached or dyed to reach the appropriate color.
Silicone treated sheepskins go through the same
process but then silicon is applied to the "fur
side" of the sheepskin. Silicone inhibits the
creation of rust on metal objects. Sheepskins
treated with silicone are the perfect complement to
the "natural" sheepskin.
